Skysense develops a self-contained ADS-B receiver
Skysense, provider of airspace surveillance equipment, has announced PlaneSight Solar, a self-contained ADS-B receiver for sites where no power is available nor wireline connectivity. Vinnova, Sweden’s innovation agency, is partly funding the development project that officially started last week.
PlaneSight Solar is designed to be deployed at sites where no power is available nor wireline connectivity. PlaneSight Solar is completely self-contained using photovoltaic panels, battery and a cellular modem supporting all 2G/3G frequency bands allowing for true global coverage.
“New players in the airspace industry, e.g. flight trackers and drone operators, need to “see” the airspace at sites where electricity and connectivity may be an issue. PlaneSight Solar would makesuch installations far easier and efficient.”, says Robby de Candido, CEO of Skysense.
Skysense AB (www.skysense.aero) develop innovative airspace surveillance solutions that make it safer and more secure for people and property.
